In collaboration with IRCCS – Istituto Tumori Giovanni Paolo II in Bari, Italy, it has been approved to conduct clinical trials to study the analytical performance of the Single- Molecule with a large Transistor (SiMoT) device. This study will allow evaluation of the following characteristics of the device: single-molecule detection limits in 0.1 ml of solution (plasma,saliva,urine), high reliability, i.e., false-positives and false-negatives less than 1-5%, time required to complete the test less than one hour.
